- For his contribution to topology in its broadest sense, and in particular its algebraic, geometric and dynamic aspects.
11. Book released:
- Book: Unfilled Barrels India’s Oil Story
- Author: Richa Mishra
- The book highlights the key role played by Keshav Dev Malaviya, who was the then petroleum Minister.
12. World Tuberculosis Day:
- Observed on 24th March.
- Theme 2022: “Invest to End TB. Save Lives”
- To commemorate the date when Dr Robert Koch announced his discovery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacillus that causes TB in 1882.
13. International Day for the Right to the Truth:
- Observed on 24th March
- To pay tribute to Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero as he was murdered on 24th March 1980. He was actively engaged in criticizing violations of the human rights of the most vulnerable individuals in El Salvador.
14. Export Preparedness Index:
- Released by NITI Aayog in collaboration with the Institute of Competitiveness
- The index ranks all states and UTs on the basis of their export readiness and performance.
15. Gen.Vinod G. Khandare has been appointed as Advisor in the Ministry of Defence.
