2. 1st South Asian City to detail Net-Zero Carbon Emissions by 2050:

Announced by Mumbai.
To zero out carbon emissions by 2050.
Targets include a 30% reduction in greenhouse gases emissions by 2030 and a 44% reduction by 2040.

3. International Day of Action for Rivers:

Theme 2022: “To highlight the importance of Rivers to Biodiversity”
The day marks the 25th anniversary.

India’s first-ever digital water data bank
Launched at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
It aims to enhance the water management system.

9. “Gender Samwaad”:

Organised by the DAY-NRLM, Ministry of Rural Development.
To raise awareness about the mission’s activities around the country via the perspective of gender.
