6. One Nation One Ration Card Completes 3 years:

Launched on August 9, 2019
It is implemented all over the country with Assam being the last state to join the initiative in June 2022
Implemented by – Department of Food & Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
Under the National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013
It enables NFSA beneficiaries, particularly migrant beneficiaries, to get access to highly subsidized food grains under PDS from any Fair Price Shop in India.

7. 2nd Generation Ethanol Plant:

PM Modi is dedicated to the nation the 2nd Generation Ethanol Plant at Panipat, Haryana.
It will generate around 3 crore litres of Ethanol per annum.
India’s first ethanol Plant – Punia, Bihar.

8. World Biofuel Day:

To create awareness about the importance of non-fossil fuels as an alternative to conventional fossil fuels.
