1. Ayushmann Utkrisht Award 2022 – Uttar Pradesh:
- Awarded for adding several healthcare facilities to the health facility register.
- With 28728 new healthcare facilities added to the National Health Facility Register, Uttar Pradesh is the best-performing state in the nation.
2. 13th FICCI Global Skills Summit 2022:
- Held in New Delhi.
- On the theme of “Education to Employability – Making it Happen”
- The Summit would look through the NEP lens and focus on how India can become the “Skill Capital of the World,” using the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4) as an underlying theme.
3. World Heart Day:
- Observed on 29th September.
- Theme 2022 – “Use Heart for Every Heart”
4. Uttarakhand awarded for Adventure Tourism:
- Uttarakhand received the first prize in two categories, for the best adventure tourism destination and all-around development of tourism from the Ministry of Tourism.
- The awards were presented on the occasion of World Tourism Day which was observed on 27 September.
5. First NCW Chairperson passes away:
- Veteran Congress leader and former MP from Odisha JAYANTI PATNAIK passed away.
- A renowned social worker, Patnaik was the first chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW).
- She headed the commission from February 3, 1992, to January 30, 1995.
- She was also the President of the All India Mahila Congress in 1987.

6. New Attorney General of India – R Venkataramani:
- He replaced current Attorney General K K Venugopal.
- The Attorney General acts as the chief legal advisor of the Indian government.

7. Lata Mangeshkar Award:
- Won by Shailendra Singh is awarded for 2019
- Anand Milind is awarded for the 2020
- Kumar Sanu is awarded for 2021
- It is a national-level award instituted to honour works in the field of music.
- Lata Mangeshkar is the most versatile singer in the Indian film industry.
- She received Padma Bhushan in 1969, Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1989, Padma Vibhushan in 1999 and Bharat Ratna in 2001.
