3. Kati Bihu – Assam:

4. Asia’s largest Compressed Biogas Plant – PUNJAB:
- This plant has been set up under the Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation (SATAT) initiative.
- The initiative was launched in 2018 to produce CBG from various waste/biomass sources in India.
- It aims to empower the rural economy by supporting farmers, increasing India’s domestic energy production and self-sufficiency, and reducing air pollution.
- It will also help cut down the need for stubble burning.
5. Indian shooter, SAMEER wins Silver medal at ISSF World Championship:
- International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Championship in Cairo, Egypt.
- Indian pistol shooter Sameer won a Silver in the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol event.
6. Global Youth Climate Summit – BANGLADESH:
- Held at Khulna, Bangladesh.
- In the 3-day summit, participating youth will explore how they can lead the fight against climate change.
- 10 delegates at the Summit will receive a grant of $1,000 each to implement their climate mitigation project.
